Christmas Boredom Busters

When it comes to Christmas there is all that excitement in the first few hours of their latest toy but we all know that by day 6 or 7 the toy is boring/broken/missing in action and it is going to be you who they begin to annoy…!!

1. Craft

Sometimes the simplest craft can keep the kids busy for hours!  Our favourite is making snow flakes.  Challenge them to create a winter wonderland in their room with as many snowflakes as they can make!  Don’t forget to keep the cutting to one place though to contain the mess!

2. Mini Tipis

Whether you’re having the family around for a Christmas sleepover party or are looking for something just that little bit different for New Years Eve, our tipis are perfect for this magical season! We provide everything, all you have to do is get the fire lit, snuggle up and enjoy a Christmas movie! With our state of the art cinema projector, and our cinema xbox package, you will get a full cinema experience without even having to leave the comfort of your own living room on these frosty evenings! OR if you’ve just got a new console for Christmas and fancy testing it out, what could be better than on our 70″ HD projector screen!?

3. Nerf Guns!

Chances are if you have little (or big) boys in your house, that they will have got something Nerf related for Christmas! One way to stop boredom setting in is by having a nerf war! These can be done really simply by creating dens out of duvets and blankets and suggesting some great games. Some of our favourites include Doctor and Capture the Flag. If you can’t be bothered with the hassle then get one of our team to come along and run you an hour and a half session, while you sit back and relax after the busy period!

4. Tipi Cinemas!

Or if you can’t bare the thought of having screaming children running around your house, then rent out our outdoor Tipi Cinema! Even on the coldest of nights, with our heaters, the tipis create a cosy haven for the kids in the back garden! With our cinema experience, your kids can stay up all night watching Christmas movies while surrounded by fairy lights and lanterns! They won’t ever want to leave the tipi!

5. Christmas Baking

If your kids are more into chilled activities then baking can be a great (sometimes a little bit messy) pastime for the kids! Especially when you’ve got a whole host of ideas from Pinterest just waiting to be created! If you’re feeling lazy, most shops have already baked Gingerbread houses which the kids can then assemble and decorate. These can also make a great addition to the Christmas decorations around the house!

Christmas is a time for family – we hope you all have a relaxed holiday and time to catch up with friends and recharge!
